    EKII

    need some advise out there from you wwI experts. a friend has offered a EKII great condition initially asked $150 in his store seems a little high ? Also were can i get both ribbons for this as it would i feel add to it. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks. BOb

    an ww1 ekII for 150 dollar is to much
    you can get one at a respectable dealer like detlev for lesser with ribbon
    sorry i could not help you more

      OUTRAGEOUSLY high. $30-35 is normal. A buck & a half is even high for the average '14 EKI. New ribbons can be had from Siegmund Stephan http://www.stephan.de/index.html among others.

        $150 is highway robbery, I wouldn't pay more than $30 for one (but that's me).

          Bob,
          If it is a 1914 EK2 in standard size, you should be able to buy 6 of them at that price. If it is a small prinzen size 1914 (1/2 or 3/4 size), the price is a bargain. (Standard EK's are about 1 5/8" or 43-44 mm) If it's an 1870, then it's also a bargain.

              ......unless of course it has the issue case, in which case (no pun intended) $150.00 is a very fair, if not bargain price for the 1914 EK2
