    Pilot's Badge

Here's an Imperial pilot's badge that I find quite nice. It's hollow with a rayed backing plate, but detail for detail it's exactly the same as a stamped non-backed version that I believe was posted by Richard Gordon some time ago.
This one came with the pilot's documents, photo album, etc. from Detlev. Anyone have any idea who the maker might have been?

Here's the rayed back. No maker's mark or silver marking, but the patina would indicate silver.
    Thanks,

No idea, but I see two distinctive (unknown) maker specific characteristics: the dotted-diamond "hair net" inside the arches of the crown, and the very distinct "nipple" on the hill on the right.

Exactly--also, the bow and buildings are rather distinctive.
