Primo EK1
Here is a shot of the hallmark on a very nice cased EK1. It not only has the 'G' but the crown and '800' stamps as well!
The inside of the pin has the owner's name scratched on as well as some numbers
which are covered with tarnish. The case itself is oversize and has a blue linen exterior rather than the usual leatherette (it has an EK outline on lid)
and the velvet base on the inside is royal blue velvet and raised a lot higher than the average base. The height of the case is about 30% taller than average. If anyone would like I an add more photos. I just thought that the hallmark was the most salient feature....
