    Medal-Bar with bronze-gilt Friedrich-August Medal

Just in from Ebay. A medal-bar with a bronze-gilt saxon Friedrich-August Medal as some kind of Spangenstück. Some of these were privately gilt.
The other "common" medals are interesting too. Look at the fine frosting to the frame of the EKII. This must be an example made in the late 30s and the Hindenburg-Cross is maker marked "CP"; that was Carl Poellath, Schrobenhausen.
A well known maker of the Third Reich who made the Deutsche Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen and a lot more.

Green backing. This medal-bar is very well made with prussian style ribbons and a thick padding under the ribbons.
