Yup, that's the Bavarian IOD89, their version of the Prussian Infantry Officers Sword M1889, as worn post 1910 (one ring black scabbard).
The officers' swords were also carried by senior "Portepeeunteroffiziere" sergeants, but absolutely no distinction in the sword itself whether carried by a Vizefeldwebel or an Oberst.
The Bavarians preferred plainer swords than the Prussians.
