Hi Dejan. it is an document for an bavarian Oberleutnant (25th Infantry Regiment) from 1916. the saxon king awards Oblt. lehmann the albrecht-order Knightscross 2nd with swords. i'am no expert with this documents but it is an quiet often to find decoration. the paper is wholed so it would be worth 40 or 50 USD.

      Hi haynau.
Thanks for so quick response and for all infos. Can you tell me was it often that different German states award officers from other German states.I know that there was lot of Prussian orders for all soldiers from German states but how it was whit States. And yes 25.inf rgt. was Bavarian regiment or Prussian one. Also does each German state own infantry regiments by numbers from 1 to 000 or just random numbered.

The Bavarians had a separate numbering system from the Prussians (which included the Wurttemberg Army Corps). Their regular infantry regiments went from 1-23 with 2 Jager regiments.
It was common for officers to receive other states' awards.
I find no Bavarian Lehmann in the Honor Rank List, nor in the 1914 ranklist, which might lead me to believe he was a lt. d Reserve (but that is usually given as his rank on award documents).
IR 25 was the "Rheinish" regt. "von Lutzow".
There was a Bavarian IR 25 that was part of the 8th Bavarian Infantry Brigade in 1916 (14th Bavarian Infantry Division). I assume it was a war raised regiment.
