    One of my Last Bars...

    --Over the last few months I have been very busy. To make a long story short, I've played 'beat the clock' in turning over some of my old pieces in favor of 'new' - the clock being 'closing day' on the new house! Any money spent from there on out goes into the pit, so these will my last pieces for a while!
    --I will try to get in here with pics in the near future, but I fear that with all of the construction work that I have to do (and moving day is very soon) I will be appearing here more infrequently...
    --Here's one, anyway. I'll get another up here now and then... who knows when?

    Very nice senior NCO's bar! Or CPO-- what's the backing? I'd think a naval Petty Officer probably more likely than an army NCO.

        Yup. I'd guess a Petty Officer aboard S.M.S. "Bayern," "Wittelsbach," "Prinzregent Luitpold,"... one of the Bavarian named ships.
