    1870 EK1 opinions on these 2

Both of these can be found in Previtera, page111 and 112. The Godet reverse looks like a combination of the Wagner and Godet reverse so I'm confused. Any thoughts on these???
First up is the "tweezers" pin and double clasp combination with stamp "13 LOTIG"

                      Hello,

I am sorry but the second depicted cross (GODET) is a reproduction.

The first one I am not 100% sure but I venture to say the same. It seems to me a little bit to plump.

                      Best Franki

I think Franki is right on the Godet. The makers mark "Godet" is completely wrong. Also I do not ever remember seeing a Godet with a
needle pin instead of a flat pin (but I may be wrong on that)

I also am unsure abot the first cross. One thing that jumps right out about it is that it is a "9th bead" cross. That is-the 9th bead on crown is bigger than the rest as is usually easy to spot as the paint will wear off it first.
The jury is still out on these crosses but some tend to shy away from them. There is also debate as to whether or not LOTIG should have the
umlaut over it or not. ( L******214;TIG)

                        hope this helps,
                        Greg
