Truen Kriegern 1866 Cross

Hi,
This I believe is a private purchase example. There is a seam around the border. Is this acceptable, as I am not very familiar with them. There is a faint glow under blacklight on the outside border of the ribbon only. Just want to make sure it is ok before going to e-standThanks for the help.

Any ideas guys? Any opinion is welcomed. I don't think there are any known fakes, but I could be wrong.

This would be considered a "Spangenstueck" (piece for the medal bar), so yes, a private purchase medal. Ribbon is not correct either.

Steven, I'll take the opportunity to inquire about this cross, now that you've brought it up . These crosses normally present a rather dull appearance, but this one shines like a mint gold coin (more than shown on the image). The suspension ring is not close to the normal ribbed type and the details differs significantly. I assume all three types of the 1866 cross were of the same basic design. Is this a piece produced several decades later or simply a modern fake?

I also enclose an image of the 1870-71 cross, which is similar in appearance to the 1866 cross.
