I don't know much about Imperial medals, but I'm guessing that it has something to do with the medal on the far right.

But I absolutely LOVE the frosting on the EK2!

Nice NCO bar from Saxe-Meiningen. Is that ek2 a TR reissue or an Imperial one?

nice clean EK. Weimar/early TR? Don't know much about Hindenburg Cross makers. Could it be Poellath? Saxe-Meiningen Verdienst-Medaille in zinc. Not a common award. The thing that strikes me as interesting is the tab style bar with each ribbon mounted on a separate backing plate and attached through slots in the bar. To illustrate, here's the back of an EK mounted in this style removed from the bar.

Condition wise, that EKII is one of the nicest I've ever seen on a medal bar - I hardly noticed the other two next to it.

That is the first "Frosted" Imp. EK that I have ever seen.

Looking at the EK again (thanks to your e-mail) the core looks a little unusual. Is it hollow?

lets say it like this - no one was wrong!
                  - not often seen meiningen merit medal (late war zink example)
                  - very nice condition and not the "usual" way with the frontfighters cross in the last place
                  - rarer style of the tab style bar
                  - and what i personally like most is the ek, its HOLLOW!, magnetic, unmarked and in FROSTED condition!

That thing is so mint it looks like it was made up this morning.
                    Thanks,
