Hello all,

I wasn't sure where to start this thread, I hope it isn't totally wrong here.

I have this "Emailschild" for AEG combat aeroplanes since a while in my collection. Many people told me it very very questionable, so I think it is a fake. I'm just surprised that I've never seen another one?!

My question, are these (fake) plates common?

I have never seen one of these before, The fact that this is supposed to be about 90 years old and there are no chips on it, would lead me to believe it is a copy. I am not saying it cannot be real as there is a chance that a mint one could exist, but that chance would be very small. Either way, I like it and it would look good displayed with an aviation collection.

I think I will sell it with good photos on Ebay, so the buyer can decide if genuine or fake.
