Thanks Greg, but look at the die flaws. Very interesting. Does anyone else have 1870 ek2s to look for similar? I have two others I am checking...

I checked both of mine. Mine are from different makers than yours. The frame beeding and corners charactoristis are completely different.

Yes, this is one for the "picture perfect" 1870 EK's.

OH I GET IT, it's the medalbar style EK! Came with the ring for medalbar attachment!
