    A nice Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha 2-medal-bar

Wonderful detailed EKII 1914 with makers mark "CD". This mark I always know with "800" silver mark, but this one is without!

The Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha Merit Medal of the Ernestinische Hausorden. Marked with die-maker "MvK" (= M. von Kawaczynski) and silver mark "Silber 990".

Ahh... you need a nice Ritterkreuz 2nd Class with swords to fit on there!

Rick is right, some moron removed the RK and replaced it with that medal.

        Beste Grüße

Are you sure? Maybe this soldier got that medal before the war and later the EKII.

Nope-- it doesn't "fit" right and looks silly halfway up the ribbon: the ring over the crown on a Knight will make the balls on the bottom arm of the cross line up nice and neat with the bottom of the EK.

Now, Herr Zinkenmeister , show us very nice closeups of the silver content and maker hallmarks, which I have never seen!

Hmmmm... thats bad. I don't want to mount the only knight 2 with X on that medal-bar. Making a pic of the silver mark would be difficult with a scanner.
