Stickpin for ID, Please

It has been suggested by another member that I move my request for possible identification of this stickpin to this Imperial Forum. The stickpin bears letters which are unknown to me. I would appreciate it if anyone can help to identify what these mean, please. The reverse is plain and the metal is non-magnetic.

Looks simple but doesn't have to be military, not even German.
VHO or maybe HVO...
