The writing of "1870" looks weird, and an over size "W". The abrasion of silver frame doesn't assort with the core. Just some guess. So what's the answer gregM?

Scott was right on with his observation about the crown. That style of crown is commonly called the "muffin crown" If you do a search on "muffin crown" You will find alot of discussion about them. Here is one that I linked to that that shows a loop style attachment but they come in many styles and also on the EK2.

As someone else mentioned, the date is not very good BUT the crown is the dead give away.
