Huh! Certainly "Best Wishes on award of the Iron Cross," but the way they are signed makes me think they accompanied flowers or similar gift. Florist because the cards are the sames, while the people signing each were different....

Humm-- you might be right about the flower deal--they are both 2 1/2 x 5 inches in size. No hole punched in them--found them in a pile of Imperial papers--I have never seen these before either--maybe our German buddies will have a clue! MikeComment
