A zinc core EK II with Square Mark

Here is my EK2 with a "square" on the ring. It is also not magnetic. My photos are not as good as the ones above and it is too dark here to take more.
What is going on here? I cannot attach photos....Where is the "manage attachment" button. NO smilies either!

Hi,
A couple of observations:
First, yours seems to have the same soldering blob on the ring near the mm. Secondly, yours looks as if the small eye on the top arm is soldered on one side only, or has pulled away just like mine. Nice cross BTW.

The soldering "blob" on the ring seems to be further away from the square than yours is. The small eye onthetop arm is indeed only attached on one side although it looks like there is some solder on both sides...
