A Third Reich era produced example marked L/57 on the ring.

Thanks Guys! "M" and "W" are both valid maker marks, as for originality, posting them on the forum would do the trick.

My M marked cross has a unique shape and look being a little larger than most Imperial EK2's. I've seen other examples of M's that look the same. Here's mine.

I have a EK2 I belive to be a W marked piece. Have a look to see how it compares to the one in question.
