    EKII mm question

I have my grandfather's ekII which he recieved Nov. 1916, at the Battle of Rote-Turm Pass. The ring is mm "Fr.". It is the small "r" type, not the capital"R". Can anyone tell me who the maker was? Thanks!

    Hello,

as far as I know Fr stands for Friedländer, Berlin.
I'm very glad that you have your grandfathers EK2. Make sure that it stays within the family forever. Have you got a picture of the EK2 or any documents/photos that you could share with us? That would be nice to see.

    Regards,
    Henrik
