This one is for those guys who specialize in German colonial medals. I know there are two versions of the Kolonial Denkmunze, one for european troops and the other for native troops. I know the one for native troops is smaller. What I was wondering is the one for european troops had bars attached to the ribbons for military actions, but does the one for native troops use bars as well?

yes, but only those for the actions after the issue of the medal. not in retrospecitve way like the one for whites.

I just can say that in all my years of collecting german colonies I have never seen a 100% original native medal together with 100% original matching clasp for a named native... I am not shure if there can be found any notices or dates of clasps given to natives.... ???!!!
