The source I know of for German medal ribbon in England does not have it. I hate to say this but, you might try placing a minumum bid on one of the many repro/fake PLMs on ebay. There are usuallly a number of these listed and a minimum bid should suffice to snag one. Then just take the ribbon. If, by some chance, you happen to have an original PLM, there is no way I would display it with a fake ribbon. Better for it not to have a ribbon than do that. People would think it fake by association.
