    Another not so common ribbon-bar

    Just in from ebay:

    EKII 1914
Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt: Medal for War Merits for Combattants (swords could only be worn on the ribbon-bar)
    Hindenburg-Cross
    Turkish Iron Halfmoon

This is a really interesting and rare combination!

    Hi Jens,

interesting combo! No DA, so career soldier.
The swords are latest WW2 type, so maybe he was a draftee in WW1 and recalled for some service in WW2 without getting some more decoration.

    Beste Grüße

        Jens,

That's a very "clean" and fine looking ribbon bar you have... Nice! Nevertheless I prefer the WWI one bigger swords devices... during the war quality control dropped quite dramatically, especially for stuff like medal and ribbon bars...

        Ciao,

        Claudio

Many thanks for the fast comments

Btw the back of the bar is "feldgrau" felt and the price I payed will remember Rick L. to the "good old collecting times". Just 10,50 Euro.
