there are hundred of different EKII docs from plain mimeographed to ones with elaborate scenes. A good reference is William Hammelman's German Iron Cross documents of WWI, ISBN 0-931065-06-2 from Mattheus Publishers. I don't know whether it's still in print. Could you post yours?

That is a good one, one of the better quality documents. I only have three , a mimeographed , a hand lettered one (to a stormtrooper ) and a simple printed one. I think they are all valuable, but the more elaborate they get the more expensive.

Hi Decker,

Here's the EKII document of my great uncle, Carl Hans Theodor Holler, die Sänger Flieger. The document is signed personaly by von Mackensen, it's not a fac - simile. From 1916.

Super document and from an aviation unit as well. Plus it is family and signed by a Generalfeldmarshall who was a Grand Cross and PLM recipient. It just does not get any better than that.
