          Hey Doug,
You better jump on this one. Good 1914 dated Korean War awarded EKs do not come along everyday. If you are not gonna get it, is it ok if I go after it? I mean come on, this is so rare Previtera did not even show one in the book. I heard these were awarded to a squad of the devils brigade that got lost and wound up wandering asia. They got caught up in a little border dispute in Korea and then after killing a bunch of communists, somebody gave them a map so they could find their way to 'Nam. When they got back to Germany they found out they were national heroes and every man was awarded one of these. Naturally they had to distinguish between the NCo's and the enlisted men, therefore the different rank ribbons. . You guys could see how this could happen right?

                Hello all:

Selten so gelacht ( for those who need a translation"seldom laughed this much")

The mention of "blood and iron" added to it also. Over all it made my day,
Blessed be his ignorance forever !
