    Iron cross 1914 (?)

    Can anyone tell me if this looks to be real or a fake?
    And what does a real one of these worth? (The seller wants $120 for it.)

    (Sorry, there are no other pics available...)

    The cross looks good but it's about twice what I would pay for it.

      I was checking the EK images on the web, and found this image.
      It's from a medal site, but what the hell's with the crowns? They are different on my EK and this one.

        Decker, since there were many different manufacturers of the EK, you will find that the core details (especially the crown) vary from cross to cross.

        Your cross is genuine but extremely overpriced, the core seems to have some surface rust as well, $40-50 in that condition at best (and I am being generous). You can still get nice ones fairly cheap.
