Today represents the Prussian victory at Sedan 150 years ago, which ultimately only marked the end of the first part of the Franco-Prussian War. So, I thought I would commemorate that victory with a couple of "Type A" 1870 EKII medal bars, two medal bars with the "Sedan" bar, and a number of "Alte Kämpfer" medal bars, respresenting all three (1864, 1866, and 1870/1871) Wars of Unification.

Thanks gentlemen!
Vince, it would be great to see that EKI.
I too find this era interesting. A relatively new collecting interest, which is rather challenging. Most of the references are long out of print German publications. But, recently "Verlag Militaria" published their 2-volume series on the Franco-Prussian War, and my copies are still enroute. Their series of books on post-1871 German uniforms, equipment, weapons, etc, have reignited my interests in those items as well.Willi
Preußens Gloria!
