Wrong forum, but from what I see, this does not look like an Austrian dragoon helmet. The Wappen at the front looks off, and the comb seems to sport a dragon rather than the usual lion fighting a snake (you can easily check these features on the web, for example by checking some recent Dorotheum sales).

More pics are needed to help determine what it is, but based on the two you posted I cannot rule out that it is a put together helmet. Have you considered posting it on Pickelhaubes.com ? They might be able to tell you what it is, or what it purports to be.
