Rare Imperial Order Star - Help identify maker

Hi guys, here is a tough one, I’m trying to identify the maker of this star, as it is unmarked, perhaps someone here has a similar reverse set up on another Imperial star but maker marked!?
This is the star to the Grand Cross of the Bulgarian Order Of Saints Ciril and Methodius. Two makers are known to have produced it - Rothe and Zimmermann. Rothe is better documented, but this star doesn’t seems to conform with Rothe specifics at all (the order itself is among the rarest of the rare and Rothe is the only maker of the few documented pieces). Zimmermann is known to be a maker of the later issues around and post WWI, but is not documented (at least not known to me). Perhaps this star is made by Zimmermann, if you have a star of similar set up please post to compare. Any thoughts or ideas are very much appreciated! The pictures are not the best, but should be plenty to identify.
    Thank You!

The various details and design elements of this cross on both obverse and reverse are telling me it is likely that the maker is from Madrid. I have seen countless examples of C.F. Zimmerman reverse set-ups and I don't recognize the set-up of your cross as being that of Zimmermann's.

      Thank you for your reply!
I agree, it’s not typical Zimmermann setup, but it’s definitely not Spanish or Italian made one as well.
Im almost certain it’s German or Austrian manufacture!
Any more opinions, or maybe comparison shots?!
      Thank You!
