Hi it for sure is not a WW1 PLM . It looks like a good S&L made plm. Although I have not seen one with the crown and letters chased it might be one they are making now. l Can't comment on the oaks . You should post it in the 57 section. Wait to here from others. Cliff

The style of eagles is definitely St&L.

Not original WW1. Looks like a S&L type piece with chased crown

I would advise against this cross, these seem to be a fake of the S&L Plm. It also has dubious marks on the suspension. I’d run it past the 57er forum guys just to be sure. This one looks fishy to me.

Agree, this looks like a cast fake S&L to me.

The PLM shown above is definitely not a S&L made PLM. Unfortunately the fakes are getting close into copying the S&L design. Still, there is a lot wrong with it. The first and most obvious mistake is the crown design. S&L PLM never used any dotted design in the lettering or the crown... the quality of this piece looks very poor compared to a S&L PLM. The enameling is no comparison to the way S&L are enameled. The pillowed effect of the enameling is missing. The cross itself looks like it was casted - not something S&L would do.

                  regards,
                  Alex
