Identity of a war time, between wars stickpin..

Have seen the FR logo before but the white enamel with the FR and a 1....I cant locate it...HELP appreciated...maker marked Hoffstetter Bonn....

IMO the pin only has "R 1" on it as it does not look like any of the Imperial unit ciphers. Can't offer any identity or a guess.

My guess is it may be Weimar period and a commemorative pin for Reiter Regt. 1. Although, I've only seen these with yellow enamel (for cavalry).

Thank you gents....originally I also thought it just an R, then looking at how the letter is set up, a written capital F appeared...top and downstroke and bottom, then finished with the rest of the R....maybe overthinking....and also the Reiter idea came to mind for mounted....have lightly looked through my Huskens 1871 thru 1945 booklet without any identifiers, but maybe a thorough look is in order...

I briefly considered that but would expect "Reiter Regt. 1" to be "RR 1". Perhaps it's not even military related.
