    Hi Joe,

    Very interesting article.

    What does BJA stand for? The upper case letter i was often rendered with a j at that time.

    If BJA represents the repair depots, then the abbreviation might be BIA (= Bekleidungsinstandsetzungsamt) rather than BJA.

      BJA is the markig on the back of the helmets. stands for
      B.J.A. Bekleidings Instandsetung (Followed by a roman numeral Corps number)
