Hi! Does anyone have a copy of "Bayerns Goldenes Ehrenbuch. Den Inhabern der höchsten bayerischen Kriegsauszeichnungen aus dem Weltkrieg 1914/1918 gewidmet" published by the Bayerisches Kriegsarchiv in 1928? I’m interested in learning the details of the action that led to the award of the Knight’s Cross of the Bavarian Military Max Joseph Order to Leutnant Wilhelm Ritter von Thoma on 5 July 1916. Thanks for any assistance!

Of course I do, as well as the 1966 biographies of WW1 holders of the MMJO published by the Order.

This is not, however, a specific subject which I intend to spend any time on for reasons you may be unaware of, but senior members certainly are. Let us just say, with no reflection on you, that I do not provide free accurate research which will be abused by a third party elsewhere.
