            Hello,

This is a request for stogieman or any other Imperial Pilots badge experts to give an opinion on this badge. I am interested in it but i have reservations, namely the positioning of the pin and it's length and the fact that it ends in a point. Is any of that OK?

            Cheers
            Gary

              this badge...

... has already been discussed in this thread:

              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=121769

It's being offered to several people at the same time, apparently.

I think the badge is OK, despite the short pin. detail and design are consistent with other known originals. price should be about $350.

                As an aside....

.... I find many of these "Hate Belt" concoctions to be really quite amusing. The belt that this is on has an awful lot of original items that simply would not have been collected in battle.

An 1870/71 KDM picked up in the trenches 1914/18?
                A Gold Wound Badge???
                Shiny, polished brass dress buckle?

original pieces, yes. Battlefield collected? I doubt that very much.

                  Hello Guys !!!

well.. just two things from me.. as I am the owner of that belt - it's not offered to severall people at the same time - it's on E-stand - and I have lot's of questions about it - AJ who asked about detailed pictures - never contacted me again about belt - so I guess I can offer it to Gary - Who is interested in it.. and is also my neighbour...

number two - like Stogieman mentioned - I also doubt this stuff was collected from battlefield - rather put together with all stuff that somebody (soldier - veteran) could find around... especially that its dated 1919

thanks for input !! cheers !!
