HUGE Imperial ribbon offer coming up on e-stand

Dear fellow collectors,

I was able to get the rest of the stock of a ribbon manufacture in Munich. 95% of the ribbons are Imperial (German states, kingdoms), some Third Reich. Of course ALL offered ribbons are originals! No reproductions.

I would say about 50% of the ribbons are very rare. I have ribbons ranging from the 1914 Grand Cross of the Iron Cross, the Bavarian MVO for Beamte up to a simple Oldenburg FA-cross 2nd class. Most of the more common things (and most Third Reich) have already been sold off before I got the remaining stock. But I still have about 150 different ribbons in various lengths. Your long sought after ribbon might be in there! This might be your chance to complete your rare Imperial neck order award or just a simple medal.

I wanted to make you aware of this opportunity one week before I will post the actual offers (with picture of each ribbon in group pics by state) so you can prepare. Please go through your collections and make a list of what you are missing. I will be gone for the whole next week, but will be happy to receive your "want lists" while I am gone. This way you could secure a rare ribbon even before I post the offer. I have meters of some ribbons but only about 30 cm of others.

Prices will vary, of course with regards to the rarity of the ribbon (lots of neck orders!) and how many ribbons in total you will buy. I am sure I can give you an attractive offer.

Again, absolutely NO reproductions, I will guarantee for this with my honour as a member of this Association.

I will answer you requests and post the pics on the e-stand on Monday next week.

Dez, presumed Grand Cross ribbon is indeed Pour Le Merite. I am sorry about this mistake based on a misunderstanding of an advice given to me by an advanced collector.

My initial thoughts were that it was PLM ribbon, but then I took another look at the picture and it seemed too white instead of silver.

actually the PLM ribbon is silver, it is not white. Titeling it as Grand Cross was a mistake based on a misunderstanding. I assumed it was PLM, but then a very experienced collector told me on the phone it must be Grand Cross without seeing the ribbon. I bowed to that opinion, but now that he has seen (and bought it) it was clearly a PLM ribbon.

Yes, nice ribbons! I wish you guys would need more of those, but most of you seem to have complete sets in your collections. Or the decorations belonging to those ribbons are just to weird or rare. Anyway, I cannot lose any investment in this, as I am selling them off for an internetless collector friend who gives me a nice percentage from the price.

Ribbon Butcher huh? Well, anybody with honourable motives that cannot stand that I cut these nice rolls of ribbon into lengths is free to buy them all just to preserve them in one piece!

Thanks for all your interest, I think everybody of you guys here got what he needed from that offer.
Ribbons are NO LONGER available. I sold ALL remaining ribbons off in a lot. Everything´s gone.
Of course I did hold on to the ribbons already ordered but not yet paid from some of you.
