Hi All, I was hoping some more learned members could help me with an interpretation of this medal bar. The backing is black.
The Weurtemberg medal says DEM VERDIENST on the reverse.
The China medal is in steel.
The EK2 is attached to the bar with a split ring, is this common?
Is it possible that the 1914 EK is a replacement for a 1870 EK, the Hindenberg Cross for a 1870 War medal?
Tons of questions I know but I'm looking forward to what more advanced collectors can add.
Cheers,
Greg
