Special is right. You need special laser tooling and special chemicals to add the 100+ years of patina

its amazing to see how these particular types of crosses 'TARNISH FROM AGE AND HAVE VERY SLIGHT SURFACE RUST.'...after all, this particular cross is at least 1 day old and I would have expected to see it a lot more tarnished after such a long time.... Cheers, Torsten.
