It seems to roughly translate as Honourary Field Keeper/Guardian of the Municipalities of Rhiens and Capellen. Maybe hunting/poaching associated? Could be gardening for all I know!

Hi Mike, yes it does roughly translate to that...I kind of seem to remember that in the mid 19th century Voluntary Rural Gendarmerie (Police) were called Feldhueter??..but maybe not...?
