Thanks Matt. I found this stored in an old Bayern Aspirin box. It was less than 50p for the box - and they did not look inside. I did not tell the seller (because of language difficulties) - and anyway, it cancels out the fake NSDAP I bought. Does it get the thumbs up or was there a reason that this medal was included in the box?

What's the mark on the ring?

It's very hard to read...even with a glass. It's something "W" or "M" something (if that makes sense)

W is a ral stamping. I think I still have one with that mark.
