Here is the badge. It actually come out of a garbage dump. The back appears to be a brass type material the front has a coppery finish, with a silver wash/plate on top of it. Almost looks like this badge is in 2 pcs, see side view.

Hmmmm, if not a cast it's possible... I'd want to view this under a scope, look for bubbles, casting marks. The lack of fine detailed vertical lines bothered me when I saw this one.

see those vertical lines, the bulbs along them. not straight perfect lines but those bulbs I've seen on copies made from the original. that's the part that gets me.

It looks like it might have been near a fire also. Perhaps it needs a little cleaning.
