Requirements for the Feldehrenzeichen

Hi there, does anyone know what the requirements for receipt of the Feldehrenzeichen were??...or were there none? Who was authorised to award the Feldehrenzeichen? Thank you very much for your help in advance...Cheers, Torsten.

The Hamburg one?
If so:
1. service in WW1.
2. 5-10 marks

sorry, yes...that is the one I meant of course...so, pretty much like the later Hindenburgkreuz then...but there are also award certificates for the Feldehrenzeichen.. who was authorised to issue the certs?...was it just the Hamburger Senat? Cheers, Torsten.

Nope-it wasn't official at all, but issued by a private association (one suspects it was a money-maker of some sort). I can't remember the name of the group-but it's on the certificates-follow the threads.
