    Have you seen this one???...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...540029154&rd=1

What the hell is that supposed to be??...well, the seller totally guarantees originality, so it can't be wrong, can it??...

    Cheers, Torsten.

All it is is a surfers cross from the sixties with a ribbon added to it. They usually hung from chains. I had one when I was a kid in Missouri even though the biggest body of water I had seen was Lake Michigan. The dreams we have as kids.

When I was a yon'ger I was so lusting after an Iron cross that I would by anything related to it. I've got one of those big hurky iron crosses you see on e-bay, bought at the State fair. Also picked up a what could be best said a KVK with a high relief skull and cross bones on it. I wore that more than the surfers cross.

When I was single and about 22 or so, I bought a PLM from a dealer in a mall. I think I paid about $20 for it. I knew it was fake, but I thought it looked so nice. The last time I remember seeing it was when my oldest son was about 5 or 6 (he's 23 now) he dressed up as a Hollywood-style Count Dracula for Halloween and I put the PLM around his neck. He looked quite scary and dashing all at the same time!

I don't know... The fakes of these things have gotten quite convincing lately.

Nothing says summertime fun at the beach like a little slice of Imperial German wartime memorabilia!

I guess I am too young and I grew up in the wrong country to be able to recognise these authentic German Imperial Pour Le Hippie crosses then... Cheers, Torsten.

It's good to know that the pin works on this one -- so many have bad pins!

This seller asked about this piece through another venue, but was not interested in the answer given. His description now conveniently leaves out the answer he got, and give the usual "I don't know nothing..." line.

                    Surf's up, dude!

well, I am of 1968 vintage and so my parents should know about that time, but there was not exactly a strong hippie movement in East Germany at the time... Cheers, Torsten.
