    Iron Cross 1. Class 1813

what do you think about this one?
in my eyes a 1914 or 1939 iron cross frame with the reverse side of an iron cross 2nd class 1914.

    Oh Gott!

The originals had just a smooth obverse, the crown, leaves and the year is only shown at the 1870 and 1914 ones!

    Best regards

Nope sorry this is all wrong, a very obvious fake. The reverse is nothing like what I would expect on an original and the obverse, as stated by Daniel was blank.

        Sad

Complete Fake. You are looking at the reverse of a 1914 EK. II placed into a 1914 EK. I Frame. Only it is backwards in and of itself as there was an unfinished obverse to the 1813 EK. I. It might as well be upside down and backwards. As the previous gentlemen stated, an obvious fake. But what is sadder is the guy trying to peddle this piece.

Well, to his defense, he says at least "I do not know if this is original or not that´s why I start with 1 Euro, decide yourself".

If somebody is dumb enough to bid a premium price after that description, I would say "well deserved".

--I'd take it for one Euro, it's probably worth at least ten.
