Imperial medal bar... is it this combination possible?

Dear fellow collectors,

Here I am posting an image of an Imperial medal bar recently offered on the 99th Kube's auction catalogue.

From right to left:

- EK 2. Klasse am Kämpferband
- Frontkämpferkreuz
- Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung 2. Kl.
- Türkei, Osmanje-Orden, RK

I have a doubt: the LW-DA 2. Klasse was also given to officers? If not, how it is possible that an EM or NCO could be awarded with an Officers' decoration (Ritterkreuz-Knightcross) like the Turkey Order of Osmanje?

Hi Claudio,

dont worry, also Officers got the Landwehr DA 2nd class.
I remember even a Prussian Landwehr General with the old style Landwehr brooch.

Claudio-- brought up an old thread on this for you. All ranks got the "LD2," but ONLY officers got the "LD1" which was the XX Years Service Cross.
