But don´t get me wrong. I am not trying to be sarcastic. When I had 13 minis, I also thought I had already eaten all wisdom of imperial mini world.

Miro, cudos to you for actually trying, but you're wasting your time. The concept "I believe what I want, the rest of you can hit the highway" is the gereral response you you'll receive (as can be noticed in the enclosed link).

Granted I'm not that well versed in Imp. minis, I focus on the TR. The stickpin combo features two 16mm EK's, something I've never encoutered in the TR version of EK1+EK2 (other than on fakes). Can you please give me some feedback?
cheers

Shortly said, if the reverse is correct, I wouldn´t have problem with this one. Evenly sized EK1/EK2 minis are nothing strange in imperial era, on stickpins as well as on buttonbacks. And 16 mm size is quite common as well. Stickpins were even bigger at the beginning (I had some 19 mm pieces, some say there are also 21 and even bigger stickpins) and they slowly got downsized to TR size (9 or even 6 mm). If you want to know more, please feel free to open a separate thread about this mini, it won´t be fair to steal this thread or divert it to imperial stickpins. And post there please also the reverse side.
Thanks in advance.

I´ve just asked Greg to post one nice miniature, that I have coincidentally found yesterday on internet. One-sided, apparently vaulted, straight mounted EK 1870 miniature, very similar to thread starter one, just with 25 oakleaves. Correct me if I am wrong, but 25 oaks were not awarded to EK1s
