    U-Boat Badge Schott

    Hello,

I would greatly appreciate any opinions regarding this badge.
It is my first WW1 U-Boat badge purchased. I studied the Forums before the purchase and feel like I bought an Original.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Also for me a nice badge that looks to be in worn condition.
Untouched patina with verdigris in the deeper parts.

              Jelle, I appreciate your comments.

I am really starting to delve deeply into the WW1 U-Boats.

I am not sure this is verdigris. The initial/early run of Schott badges had a green finish to the wreath etc. Many collectors, in the past, assumed it was verdigris and erroneously cleaned the badges.

I think the Paul's badge has a lot of the original finish left.
