just got this nice photo of a PLM recipient. Any chance to identify him or the award on his chest?

Turned out to be Generaloberst Felix Graf von Bothmer

It's an Austrian Order of the Iron Crown.

And that very award (Kleindekoration zum Großkreuz des österreichischen Ordens der eiserne Krone mit Kriegsdekoration) from the estate of von Böthmer will be offered by Thies in his upcoming auction.

I've found interesting this piece, because the badge is of the type awarded between 1866 and 1870. Some of these pieces, have been awarded until the early months of WW1.
