    House order of Hohenzollern

Don't post active auction links. Post the pictures of the item you want to discuss.

Not very experienced with this medal and was wondering if it was real

I posted a link which was deleted by the mod, I cannot post pictures because it says that the security token is missing, so I’ll try the link again, if it gets deleted then idk what I can do. To the mod, I know not to post links I just can’t post pictures for that reason, this is the only way that I can show pictures at this time is by posting the link, if I just can’t then I won’t but I cannot post pictures which is the only reason why I am posting the link

If an image will not load it is usually because it is too large. Try resizing them to 800 x 800. There is a test forum down below to try posting them if you don't want to dirty up this thread. I will do it this time for you but I recommend you do some practice.

The auction description mentions that it was made in the 1960ies/1970ies.

The house still awards these today, so could it be possible that this is just a house order given to someone in the military?

(Here is another picture of it, thanks Don, I apologize for what I did before)

            Hello,

It is not "real" as it was not an awarded piece. It is a counterfeit piece made long-after any Officer was awarded one, and long-after any living veteran Officer would have needed to purchase a replacement copy.

So, my advice would be to avoid it all all costs as it has no real value.

            Best regards,

+1 And it looks to be pretty poorly made, too. Nothing like the real deal.
