    EK II Display Stand

Like many of us, I enjoyed Greg M's "I Got Bored" photo last week. After contacting him about a display stand that I have similar to the one in the front left of his photo, he suggested I post it.

    So here it is.

It's not as nice as Greg's, nor is the photography.

    I'm interested in your opinions.

    Thank you.

    I like it
These things are scarce. In all of time I've been hanging around here,
We've only seen maybe a dozen ever posted.

This one is double sided. I can not remember ever seeing another like it.

of coarse now you need to invest in a glass dome.

No better way to display a period piece than in a period display! I assume the glass dome is lost to time?

The dome was gone when I bought the display last year. I thought it looked all right without it, until I saw Greg's. I've since ordered a replacement dome. It should be here late this week. Thanks Greg!

By the way, I'm not sure if the photo shows it too clearly, but the EK side of the display is formed for the cross to fit into. Not so on the Hindy side.

I got the replacement glass dome the other day, so I'll bore you with one more (poorly lit) photo. Thank you for your comments, and thanks again to Greg.

                          Very nice!
Never seen a double sided example before.
After seeing Greg's display posted, I contacted him with a few questions.
                          This was the result.
