Hi: Years ago I bought this "chipped enamel and over-painted Turkish award...and I'd like to know if it's original. I can live with the chipped enamel and paint. Thank you,

I would say original, unfortunately suffered the same as my Godet made piece complete with red paint

Well...I cleaned off the paint....and here is what it looks like....

Had a hard life....but now I can see the original surface.
