Hesse Medal Group Ribbon Question

This is a Hesse medal bar with the Ernst Ludwig Honour Decoration for Bravery in Silver in the centre with what appear to be two associated riribbon bars. What is puzzling is the colour difference of the two Hesse ribbons. The ribbon on the medal bar doesn't show any signs of fading so is this just a colour variation? Or have I completely misidentified the ribbon bar?

The ribbon bars show the Oldenburg Friedrich-August Cross.
